Job Overview:

The Senior Financial Operations Director will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable department, ensuring the efficient and accurate management of financial obligations, including tax-related processes.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage Department: Supervise the accounts payable staff to maintain high levels of productivity and efficiency.
  2. Financial Processes: Oversee functions such as general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, and project accounting to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  3. Compliance: Ensure that all systems, policies, and procedures adhere to company standards and are functioning accurately and efficiently.
  4. Taxation: Oversee all tax-related processes, supporting AM taxation to ensure proper tax withholding and clearance of tax GLs in software.
  5. Reporting: Track company expenditures, maintain databases, and provide reports as requested by supervisors.
  6. Payment Oversight: Oversee all payment transactions, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
  7. Transaction Monitoring: Monitor the status of transactions within the company and with external vendors and contractors.
  8. Process Development: Develop standardized procedures to enhance efficiency and create internal templates for company use.
  9. Customer Relations: Act promptly and accurately in communication with customers, minimizing queries and resolving issues efficiently.
  10. Aging Reduction: Reduce payable aging through system improvements and policy compliance.
  11. Bills of Adjustment: Ensure timely submission of bills of adjustment after internal audits to minimize advances in aging.
  12. Query Resolution: Resolve each query within a reasonable timeframe, ensuring customer satisfaction.
