About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Tax Compliance Manager to join our team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Key responsibilities include reviewing client and authority notices, updating notices lists, and verifying tax computations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of taxation laws and regulations. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to handle correspondence with tax authorities. Your role will involve representing clients in hearings and managing companies' tax computations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review client and authority notices with reasoning.
  • Update notices lists, appeal lists, and tribunal lists.
  • Verify tax computations and schedules before replying to notices.
  • Notify clients about gaps or tax liabilities.
  • Obtain client approval for tax liabilities and fee payments.
  • Handle correspondence related to income tax, sales tax, and other taxes.
  • Represent clients in hearings and obtain orders in their favor.
  • Manage companies' tax computations and e-filing of annual ITRs.
  • Discuss notices or case details with clients.
  • Review departmental computations before ITR submission.
  • Obtain exemption orders as needed.
