We're looking for an ambitious Tax Professional who can bring their expertise to our team. As an Indirect Tax Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in helping clients navigate the complexities of customs law.
About the JobIn this role, you'll work closely with clients to identify risk areas and develop sustainable planning opportunities for indirect taxes. Your technical skills and industry knowledge will be invaluable in providing expert advice on VAT treatment of new and complex transactions.
- You'll collaborate with a team of VAT professionals to share knowledge and best practices.
- Work effectively with senior team members to update them on project progress and communicate with clients to ensure successful outcomes.
Client Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality reports and schedules to clients and other parties, meeting deadlines and ensuring accuracy.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with client personnel, including building trust and rapport.
Technical Responsibilities:
Stay up-to-date with regional Free Trade Agreements and customs laws to provide expert advice.
Work collaboratively with colleagues in overseas offices to deliver VAT advice globally.
Prepare for the introduction of VAT in various countries and advise clients on the potential impact.
RequirementsTo excel in this role, you'll need exceptional problem-solving skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- A degree in economics, finance, tax or accounting is essential.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience as an Indirect Tax professional is required.
- Experience working in multicultural teams and managing multiple tasks is highly valued.
