Warehouse Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring that all activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with customers, suppliers, and transport companies to ensure smooth operations;
  • Planning, coordinating, and monitoring the receipt, order assembly, and dispatch of goods;
  • Utilizing space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently to meet quality targets;
  • Coordinating the use of automated and computerized systems;
  • Responding promptly to customer communication via email and telephone;
  • Maintaining accurate inventory levels;
  • Planning for future capacity requirements;
  • Staff recruitment, training, and performance management;
  • Motivating and organizing a high-performing team;
  • Establishing and monitoring effective security procedures and protocols.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field;
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
  • Proficiency in using computerized systems and software applications.
