About This Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Manager. In this role, you will have the chance to lead Agile and DevOps practices within the team, acting as Scrum Master for the POD.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building relationships beyond teams and seeking out new ways of improvement. They will ensure the team adheres to agile values and principles, providing evidence of incremental improvement.

You will facilitate meetings, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, and remove obstacles to create an effective environment. As a liaison between stakeholders and the development team, you will provide leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior team members.

Attending Quarterly Business Reviews and taking ownership of product Increment planning are also key responsibilities. Additionally, you will address team dynamics, ensuring good relationships between the team, product owner, and others outside the team.

You will contribute to simplifying parts of the tech architecture to drive simplicity and reduce TOIL. Maintaining effective control of the end-to-end application and service lifecycle, including Development, UAT, and Production, is also a key responsibility.

The ideal candidate will manage technical debt proactively and address issues before they are assigned. They will follow governance processes and ensure compliance with HSBC IT FIM requirements.

Driving quality assurance automation, considering test data, environments, and non-functional testing relevant for products/services, is also essential. You will work as an IT Service Owner delegate (ITSO) for Talent Intelligence systems, collaborating with third-party service providers.

Ensuring service resilience, sustainability, and recovery objectives are met for all software solutions is also crucial. The ideal candidate will provide subject matter expertise and support across teams.

They will lead reviews of incidents and demonstrate ownership in resolving team, component, and production issues. Finally, you will monitor ICE Exceptions, Unix/Linux Patching, Cyclic Patching, Performance and Stress testing, Data Backup and Recovery Plans, DR Tests, Roleswaps, Vulnerability Planning, and Resolution Management.
