We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Associate Project Manager.

In this role, you will:

  1. Embed Agile and DevOps practices within the team, acting as Scrum Master for the POD.
  2. Build relationships beyond teams and seek out new ways of improvement.
  3. Ensure the team adheres to agile values and principles, providing evidence of incremental improvement.
  4. Facilitate meetings, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  5. Remove obstacles and establish an environment where the team can be effective.
  6. Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and the development team, providing leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior team members.
  7. Attend Quarterly Business Reviews and take ownership of product Increment planning.
  8. Address team dynamics, ensuring good relationships between the team, product owner, and others outside the team.
  9. Contribute to simplifying parts of the tech architecture to drive simplicity and reduce TOIL.
  10. Maintain effective control of the end-to-end application and service lifecycle, including Development, UAT, and Production.
  11. Manage technical debt proactively and address issues before they are assigned.
  12. Follow governance processes and ensure compliance with HSBC IT FIM requirements.
  13. Drive quality assurance automation, considering test data, environments, and non-functional testing relevant for products/services.
  14. Work as an IT Service Owner delegate (ITSO) for Talent Intelligence systems, collaborating with third-party service providers.
  15. Ensure service resilience, sustainability, and recovery objectives are met for all software solutions.
  16. Provide subject matter expertise and support across teams.
  17. Lead reviews of incidents and demonstrate ownership in resolving team, component, and production issues.
  18. Monitor ICE Exceptions, Unix/Linux Patching, Cyclic Patching, Performance and Stress testing, Data Backup and Recovery Plans, DR Tests, Roleswaps, Vulnerability Planning, and Resolution Management.
  19. Perform requirements analysis and communicate the findings effectively.
