Project Accounting Manager Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key member of the financial management team, you will play a vital role in overseeing the financial aspects of various projects, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.

The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with project managers and stakeholders. You will be responsible for managing project budgets, monitoring expenditures, and developing financial reports that provide valuable insights into project performance.

  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of project budgets and financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
  • Monitor project expenditures and track financial performance against budgets.
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop financial forecasts and variance analysis.
  • Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures for project accounts.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Conduct regular financial reviews to identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency.
Requirements
  • ACCA or CMA certification is mandatory with relevant financial qualifications.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project accounting or financial management.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
