Job Overview

This is a key leadership position within our organization, focusing on the overall strategy and operational management of our SAP platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless support and delivery of SAP services across our global capability center in Hyderabad.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SAP Basis & Infrastructure Support: Manage daily operations and ensure smooth functioning of the SAP landscape at the Hyderabad GCC.
  • Project Delivery: Oversee the delivery of SAP infrastructure projects from the Hyderabad GCC.
  • Team Management: Directly manage a team of experts in SAP infrastructure, development, security, and analytics domains.
  • Thought Leadership: Provide strategic guidance on various SAP technology initiatives.
  • Operational Practices: Establish uniform operational practices and discipline across all SAP platforms.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Effectively collaborate with other infrastructure teams, including Server, Storage, and Networking.
  • Staying Up-to-Date: Stay informed about SAP roadmaps and developments to enhance current platform capabilities.

Solution Design and Implementation

The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills and experience in SAP solution design and implementation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Architectural Oversight: Provide guidance on key design decisions related to SAP platform architecture.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other capability centers to design, architect, and deliver technical solutions that meet project requirements.
  • Tech Feasibility and Risk Management: Ensure quality and cost-effective delivery by owning technical feasibility and risk management associated with each solution.
  • Point Person: Serve as the primary point of contact from the GCC-Hyderabad technical team responsible for solution design and delivery across SAP Platform, Development, Security, and Analytics.

Strategy and Innovation

The successful candidate will drive business growth through strategic planning, innovation, and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Planning: Accurately articulate strategic issues and provide logical options for solving them.
  • Presentations: Create comprehensive and meaningful strategy presentations for senior executives.
  • Dashboards and KPIs: Build a framework and drive development through dynamic business intelligence tools and dashboards for ongoing operations planning and goal measurement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements through automation, system optimization, adoption of new SAP functionalities, and deployment of GenAI.
  • Digital Transformation: Identify opportunities for digital transformation by leveraging technologies such as S/4HANA and cloud/BTP solutions.

Analytics, Compliance, and Risk Management

The role requires managing vulnerability remediation and SOX security compliance across SAP infrastructure in partnership with the security and compliance organization. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for managing SAP analytics solution delivery resources and reporting applications operational support from the GCC-Hyderabad.
