Civil Engineer - Project Management and Execution Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to lead the execution of civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in project management, with a strong background in material quantity takeoffs, cost estimation, tender submission and evaluation, subcontractor management, and team leadership.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Collaboration with UK-based firms on large-scale civil engineering projects.
  • Material Quantity Takeoffs and Cost Estimation: Accurately calculate material quantities and associated costs for various civil engineering projects.
  • Tender Management: Prepare, submit, and evaluate tenders to ensure competitive and compliant bids.
  • Subcontractor Management: Oversee and manage subcontractors to ensure project milestones and quality standards are met.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of engineers and construction workers to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for conducting site visits and providing site supervision as required. Experience with solar installation projects is advantageous.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Over 5 years of experience in civil engineering project management.
  • Strong technical knowledge of material quantity takeoffs, cost estimation, tender submission, and evaluation.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
