We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized logistics professional to join our team as a Remote Truck Dispatcher.

As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning and optimizing truck routes to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.

You will collaborate with drivers, clients, and team members to resolve any issues that may arise during transit and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and optimize truck routes based on factors such as distance, traffic, and delivery deadlines.
  • Collaborate with drivers, clients, and team members to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers to provide clear instructions, updates on routes, and address any issues that arise during transit.
  • Monitor the progress of trucks using GPS tracking and communication systems to ensure deliveries are on track.
  • Quickly adapt to unforeseen challenges such as traffic congestion, accidents, and road closures, and provide alternate routes when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of routes taken, delivery times, and incidents during transit.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients, providing updates on shipment status and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a truck dispatcher or in a similar logistics role.
  • Strong geographical knowledge and understanding of transportation logistics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with drivers, clients, and team members.
  • Proficiency in using dispatching software and GPS tracking systems.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions to resolve unexpected challenges.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
