We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to provide accurate financial record-keeping and compliance support for our UK-based clients.
- Maintain and manage financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and company financial records.
- Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with UK tax regulations.
- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense claims.
- Generate financial reports and support management with financial insights.
- Collaborate with accountants for end-of-year financial reporting.
- Ensure accuracy in financial data entry and maintain organised records.
To be successful as a Bookkeeper, you will need:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accountant, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of UK accounting principles, VAT regulations, and payroll processing.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with great attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Experience in working with UK clients is a plus.
AAT or ACCA qualification (or working towards one) is preferred, as well as prior experience in a bookkeeping role for UK clients.
