We are seeking an accomplished professional to fill a key leadership role within our Lahore office in Pakistan.

About the Position

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience working with UK-based companies. They will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and analyzing financial data to inform business decisions.

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Chase payments on overdue invoices
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Develop and manage budgets, including projected and actual costs
  • Handle multiple accounts simultaneously and apply accounting standards as necessary
  • Administer payroll and ensure timely and accurate payment to employees
  • Verify bank reconciliations and establish/maintain supplier and customer accounts
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of financial accounting concepts and practices
  • Experience working with UK-based companies
  • Fluent English language skills (written and spoken)
  • Strong computer and internet skills
  • Good command of Excel and experience with accounting systems such as Sage or Kashflow
