Network Infrastructure Specialist

The role of a Network Infrastructure Specialist involves supporting and assisting in the planning, design, and implementation of infrastructure to meet current needs and future expansion. This includes integrating CISCO, Juniper, and other products for clients nationwide.

  • Actively participate in deployments across Pakistan.
  • Handle technical support cases.
  • Collaborate with architecture teams to implement network configurations such as subnetting, VLANs, VOIP, VPN tunneling, and wireless LANs at various locations.
  • Design, integrate, optimize, and migrate networks.
  • Provide troubleshooting support.
  • Work with team members to resolve integration issues.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
  • Administer and maintain corporate infrastructure, including network connectivity, Internet, and email services.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include active deployment participation, case handling, network configuration, design, troubleshooting, and infrastructure maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all network infrastructure is properly installed, configured, and maintained.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates should have:

  • A good understanding and practical experience with routing protocols and switching technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge of network design, architecture, protocols, and topology.
  • The ability to work with end users, communicate clearly, and meet deadlines.

Education and Experience

Candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 1 year of progressive experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Certifications: JNCIS, JNCIA-IDP, IUWVNCCNP, CCNA.

Competencies

This role requires:

  • Technical skills in R&S, VOIP, and Security.
  • Behavioral competencies including being extremely organized, highly motivated, customer-oriented, excellent communication, and presentation skills.
