Risk Management Lead

This role will be responsible for ensuring that our workplace is a safe and healthy environment for all employees. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of EHS principles and practices, and will be able to apply this knowledge to drive improvements in our EHS program.
Key Responsibilities:
- EHS Program Development: Develop and implement effective EHS programs and procedures to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Risk Assessment and Control: Conduct regular risk assessments of plant processes and implement controls to mitigate identified risks.
- Safety Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to promote a culture of safety within the organization, and raise awareness of EHS issues among employees.
- Incident Investigation and Reporting: Investigate and report on all incidents, near-misses, and occupational injuries, and develop recommendations for corrective and preventive actions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Environment, or Electrical Engineering, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience.
- Internationally recognized certifications.
Preferred Skills:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in EHS production and projects with internationally recognized certifications.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and familiarity with national and international EHS regulations such as OSHA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
- Ability to implement and maintain compliance programs.
- Proficiency in risk assessment and hazard analysis, including conducting HAZOP, JSA, FMEA, and safety audits.
- Ability to identify potential hazards and implement preventive and corrective measures.
- Skilled in incident investigation and root cause analysis using tools like 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, or Taproot.
