Lead Technical Architect Position

We are seeking a seasoned Lead Technical Architect to spearhead the design and implementation of scalable, production-grade systems.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with deep expertise in Node.js, AWS, and modern frontend frameworks. They will shape technical architecture, ensure system reliability, and align engineering solutions with business objectives.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design, document, and implement core solution-based components to be used by the software team
  • Develop software features within the system, such as a PIM-based processing system to run 2k+ jobs in parallel
  • Maintain a flexible schedule with a minimum of 4-hour overlap with MST for meetings as needed
  • Provide on-call production support, working closely with DevOps to establish coverage for outages
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 10+ years of production-level experience in Software Development, focusing on backend (Node.js, Express.js, Nest.js) and frontend (React.js, Next.js) technologies
  • Expert in Node.js with a minimum of 10+ years of production experience

This is a full-time position that requires a strong understanding of technical and business needs, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely with clients to establish processes, architecture, and software backlog.
