Role Summary:

This role will be responsible for the provision of maternal and child health services at a clinic or community level.

• Provide consultation services to pregnant women, new mothers, and their children.
• Conduct routine check-ups, examine patients, identify risk factors, and conduct basic tests based on global standards for clinical care.
• Prescribe treatment or refer patients for gynecological conditions under supervision.
• Carry out nutritional assessments and refer malnourished individuals to partner organizations for further treatment.
• Assist in managing deliveries and neonatal resuscitation activities under supervision.
• Conduct sexual and reproductive health education and counseling for women and communities.
• Ensure proper record-keeping of patient information and maintain accurate records.
• Adhere to universal precautions and promote IPC practices during clinical care.
• Timely referral of complicated cases encountered at the point of care.

• Qualified and registered Lady Health Visitor (LHV), community midwife from a Government recognized Nursing Institute with a valid license to practice.
• Previous two years' experience in the same capacity is an edge.
• NGO experience preferable.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly on sensitive RH topics and generally in providing RH education.
• The ability to communicate in local language is preferred.
