As a student education consultant, you will play a pivotal role in guiding students toward their academic and career aspirations. Your key responsibility will be to provide tailored guidance on selecting suitable universities and programs abroad based on each student's qualifications and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Engage in one-on-one counseling sessions with students to understand their academic goals and aspirations.
  2. Offer expert advice on selecting universities and programs that match their qualifications and interests.
  3. Support students through the university application process, including creating personalized lists of target universities, completing application forms, and organizing necessary documents.
  4. Provide information on admission requirements, deadlines, and standardized tests required for international applications.
  5. Advise students and their families on financial matters related to studying abroad, including tuition fees, scholarships, and living expenses.
  6. Explore funding options and help students prepare essential financial documentation required for visa applications.
  7. Guide students through the visa application process, ensuring they have the required documentation and information.
  8. Stay up-to-date with visa regulations for various countries and assist students in preparing for visa interviews.
  9. Prepare students for cultural adjustments and academic expectations when transitioning to foreign universities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, or a related field (a master's degree is an added advantage).
  • Previous experience in international education counseling, student advising, or a related field will be highly valued.
  • Strong knowledge of foreign universities and their admission processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Empathy and cultural sensitivity to effectively support students from diverse backgrounds.
