About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Green Investment Advisor to join our team in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of carbon markets, climate finance, and sustainable investment instruments, coupled with proven experience in managing relationships with green investors, international donors, and funding agencies. This role is pivotal in driving sustainable finance initiatives, structuring investment opportunities, and ensuring alignment with global environmental and carbon reduction standards.

Key Responsibilities
* Advise on green investment strategies, with a strong focus on carbon markets, renewable energy, and climate-aligned projects.

* Identify, develop, and manage investment pipelines that attract both local and international green investors.

* Establish and nurture relationships with funding agencies, development finance institutions (DFIs), venture funds, and impact investors.

* Conduct due diligence on carbon credit projects and assess their financial and environmental viability.

* Support structuring of carbon credit financing instruments and tokenized investment vehicles.

* Monitor and analyze trends in carbon pricing, compliance markets, and voluntary carbon markets.

* Develop investor presentations, proposals, and reports for stakeholders.

* Advise internal teams on risk management, policy alignment, and ESG frameworks related to green investments.

* Represent the organization in national and international forums on climate finance and sustainable development.

Qualifications & Experience
* Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Environmental Studies, Climate Policy, or related field.

* Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in green finance, investment advisory, or carbon markets.

* Demonstrated track record of managing relationships with investors and funding agencies.

* In-depth knowledge of carbon trading, offset mechanisms, and international carbon standards (e.g., Verra, Gold Standard, CDM, GCC).

* Strong understanding of climate policy frameworks, ESG investing, and impact measurement.

* Excellent communication and negotiation skills with ability to engage high-level stakeholders.

* Experience in structuring blended finance deals or carbon-linked investment products will be an advantage.
