Quality Assurance Engineer Role

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Engineer to play a crucial part in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions across multiple projects.

This role involves overseeing developer work, designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance software quality and delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring Quality Standards: Oversee developer work across multiple projects to maintain quality standards.
  • Test Planning and Execution: Design, develop, and execute test plans, cases, and scripts.
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects for timely resolution.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance software quality and delivery timelines.
  • Testing and Validation: Conduct manual and automated testing to verify functionality, performance, and security.
  • Client Interaction: Interface with clients to gather feedback, discuss testing outcomes, and provide quality insights.
  • Compliance and Data Management: Maintain compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements, as well as manage and validate day-to-day data operations for accuracy and integrity.
  • Quality Metrics Reporting: Report on quality metrics and suggest improvements to testing strategies.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or a similar role.
  • Software Development Lifecycle: Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  • Testing Tools: Experience with manual and automated testing tools.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and internal teams.
  • Data Management: Data management experience and ensuring data accuracy is beneficial.
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Multitasking: Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • API Testing: Experience in API testing and performance testing.
  • SQL Knowledge: Knowledge of SQL for data validation.
  • Client-Facing Experience: Previous client-facing experience in a technical role.
