The objective of this position is to drive business growth by developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives.
Job DescriptionAs a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development of marketing strategies and initiatives to maximize gross profit and increase company market share position, customer experience, and brand confidence.
- Oversight of local marketing activities including promotional/tactical plans, customer experience plans, and effective channel strategies.
- Collaborate to establish value determination and pricing strategies as well as robust value capture systems to support strategic objectives and maximize net income.
- Develop competencies and processes required to create an effective and efficient sales organization.
- Provide leadership through effective communication of vision, active coaching, and development while comparing sales results to goals and taking appropriate action to correct when necessary.
- Provide supervision through field visits, observations, and measurement of results.
- Proven experience in business development within the chemicals industry.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Proficient in CRM software and business intelligence tools.
