Job Overview

This role requires a seasoned professional to oversee the setup, functioning and upkeep of remote monitoring systems at gas metering stations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electronics/Telecommunication with at least 04 years post-qualification experience in remote monitoring and data acquisition in Oil and Gas Sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • System Setup and Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation and optimal performance of remote monitoring systems through installation, configuration and regular maintenance.
  • Server Application Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of remote monitoring server applications and web interfaces, including database management and user access control.
  • Database Administration: Maintain and update customer databases within the remote monitoring server application.
  • Web Application Administration: Manage web applications, ensure secure operations, and manage user access.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data and prepare reports as per business requirements.
  • Spares Availability: Maintain spares for the smooth operation of remote monitoring systems.
  • Procurement: Procure remote monitoring systems and spares in a timely manner.
  • Team Management: Lead teams, implement proactive planning and scheduling processes to optimize manpower utilization and complete tasks within established time schedules.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Develop, implement and manage KPIs for each area of responsibility.
  • System Availability: Ensure 24/7 availability of remote monitoring and data acquisition systems.
  • Alarm Configuration: Configure gas closure alarms and provide timely reporting through remote monitoring servers.
