Revenue Recognition Specialist

This role involves developing a thorough understanding of the global revenue recognition policy. This encompasses multi-year revenues and revenue sharing with various intercompany entities.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring all revenues booked adhere to the revenue recognition criteria and are supported by proper documentation.
  • Collaborating with the finance department to prepare revenue forecasts and annual budgets.
  • Conducting in-depth revenue analysis on a month-to-month basis, comparing data to prior year, budget, and forecasts.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely data entry for all business transactions within the organization's software.
  • Pertinent supporting documents related to revenue booked must be meticulously maintained within the software.
  • Properly maintaining client records (master), insurer, and implementing organizational standards and protocols.
  • Ongoing reconciliation of data with the Finance Department.
  • Liaising with the operations department for timely data capturing.
  • Providing detailed information on all receipts to the Finance Department.
  • Assisting the Finance Department in delivering timely reports, including debtors aging and receivable reconciliation.
  • Generating reports as necessary.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned.
