Chief Executive Officer Job Description

We are seeking a visionary leader to drive business growth and expansion in the Transmission & Distribution sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the power sector, with a strong network within domestic and international utilities, and a proven track record in business transformation and scaling operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Business Growth & Expansion:

    • Develop and implement strategies to double revenue year-on-year.
    • Drive business transformation to achieve high revenue targets.
    • Identify new market opportunities and build relationships with key stakeholders in the power transmission and distribution sector.

  • Operational Excellence & Cost Optimization:

    • Reengineer existing business processes to enhance cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.
    • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and operational excellence.
    • Implement best practices in supply chain, project execution, and customer engagement.

  • Leadership & Organizational Development:

    • Provide strong leadership to build a high-performance organization.
    • Mentor a dynamic team to ensure long-term business sustainability and growth.
    • Develop strategic partnerships with industry peers.

  • Financial Management:

    • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and P&L management to drive bottom-line growth.
    • Align strategic goals and business priorities with stakeholders.
    • Build strong relationships with government agencies and industry partners.
Candidate Profile:
  • 20+ years of experience in the power transmission & distribution sector.
  • Educational Background: B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Communication-IT, or Telemetry.
  • Proven leadership as CEO/COO of a large organization in the power sector.
  • Strong industry connections, including utilities, EPC contractors, and multinational corporations.
  • Track record in business scaling, restructuring, and achieving revenue growth.
