About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Public Relations Specialist to join our marketing and communications team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading and supporting public relations efforts, managing media relations, executing PR campaigns, and enhancing brand visibility across key markets.

This role involves planning and executing PR campaigns that align with the company's communication strategy, drafting and distributing press releases, media pitches, and briefing documents. You will also be responsible for monitoring media coverage and tracking campaign performance using relevant tools.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated ability to build media relationships and secure media coverage. You should also be able to work collaboratively with internal teams to gather stories and craft brand-aligned messaging.

The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or a related field, and proficiency in using PR and media monitoring tools. A background in tech, healthcare, or consumer brands is an advantage.

Responsibilities
  • Public Relations Management: Manage media relations, plan and execute PR campaigns, draft and distribute press releases, media pitches, and briefing documents.
  • Campaign Performance Monitoring: Monitor media coverage and track campaign performance using relevant tools.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to gather stories and craft brand-aligned messaging.
  • Crisis Communication: Assist in managing crisis communication strategies and responses when needed.
  • Event Support: Support the planning and promotion of events, partnerships, or product launches.
Requirements
  • 2–3 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or a related field.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build media relationships and secure media coverage.
  • Proficiency in using PR and media monitoring tools (e.g., Cision, Meltwater).
  • A background in tech, healthcare, or consumer brands is an advantage.

Note: This role requires availibility in the Eastern Time Zone.
