Responsibilities
  1. Monitoring the organisation's salary structure and benefits to maintain a balance between cost control and attracting and retaining staff.
  2. Analysing salary rates and benefits offered by other employers in the sector to inform decision-making.
  3. Undertaking job evaluations to ensure fair pay differences within the organisation.
  4. Reviewing and recommending changes to pension and insurance schemes.
  5. Identifying and addressing causes of personnel problems to improve performance.
  6. Designing and implementing competitive benefit packages that meet legal requirements.
  7. Engaging in negotiations with union representatives on pay and benefits issues.
  8. Overseeing the management of the payroll system.
