Accounting Cycle Specialist

About the Role:
This Senior Accountant position requires a professional who can manage all aspects of accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily financial transactions, including bookkeeping and ledger maintenance
- Manage accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including filing sales tax and income tax returns
- Process payroll, manage employee benefits, and handle expense reimbursements
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting
- Coordinate audits and communicate with external auditors when required
- Maintain accurate financial documentation and reporting systems
- Present financial insights to management for informed decision-making
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting/Finance (ACCA, CA, or relevant certification is an asset)
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a corporate or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, ERP software, and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently, and effective communication skills
