Quality Assurance Strategist

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Strategist to lead our QA efforts and develop a strategy for software testing and quality assurance.

About the Role
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a QA strategy that aligns with organizational goals.
  • They will collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive testing coverage and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement a QA strategy that aligns with organizational goals.
  2. Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive testing coverage and quality standards.
  3. Promote a culture of quality, focusing on defect prevention and timely issue resolution.
  4. Design and execute detailed test plans and cases for functional, integration, and system testing.
  5. Develop and maintain automation test suites for regression testing using frameworks like Selenium or Cypress.
  6. Lead exploratory and manual testing for edge cases to ensure optimal user experience.
  7. Implement API testing for microservices with tools like Postman or RestAssured.
  8. Conduct SAST and DAST to identify vulnerabilities in code and applications.
  9. Ensure adherence to OWASP standards and security best practices in QA processes.
  10. Work with DevOps and Security teams to integrate security testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  11. Implement performance testing strategies with tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
  12. Monitor application performance under load and provide improvement recommendations.
  13. Optimize existing QA workflows for efficiency and reduced time-to-market.
  14. Introduce modern testing methodologies, tools, and techniques to stay industry-aligned.
  15. Mentor and develop the skills of the QA team.
  16. Collaborate early with development teams for shift-left testing approaches.
  17. Participate actively in Agile/Scrum workflows, including sprint planning and reviews.
  18. Provide clear defect reports, test results, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
