About the Role:

This role requires an experienced transformation specialist to join our team. As a Transformation Strategist, you will support the National Programme Manager in managing day-to-day programme implementation, assisting in the design and implementation of project activities, ensuring high quality, accuracy, and consistency of work.

You will work closely with the Reforms and Innovation Team, as well as with other UNDP Pakistan CO units, government officials, technical advisors, and experts, donors, and civil society to successfully implement the activities.

As a Transformation Strategist, you will have a strong understanding of governance and development issues, particularly in the context of Pakistan. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities:

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring administration and implementation of programme activities;
  • Providing effective support and contributing to efficient management of the programme;
  • Advising and supporting the NPM in efficient and effective donor and stakeholder coordination;
  • In close cooperation with R&I MEL Officer, ensuring facilitation of knowledge building and knowledge sharing in the project focusing on achievement of the following results.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • An advanced university degree in Social Sciences, including Development Studies, Project Management, or relevant related fields;
  • A minimum of 2 years (with a Master's degree) or 4 years (Bachelor's degree) of professional work experience in the development sector, project management, communications/advocacy/reporting, or relevant related field;
  • Fluency in English and Urdu (as national language).
