About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead PHP Developer to join our team. As a Senior Web Application Developer and Team Lead, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our development team.

Job Specification

  • Inculcate a high performance and delivery culture within the existing team of 5 to 8 members.
  • Proactively report on the team performance and present solutions to drive, motivate and develop a high performing team.
  • Set and maintain coding standards and practices.
  • Work closely with the project manager to contribute/create detailed technical and functional specifications.
  • Work to tight project deadlines.
  • Research and implement new technologies, tools and methods.
  • Act as the solution architect on all new product developments.
  • Work closely with directors on all aspects of team management.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years experience in OOP PHP programming - preferably CodeIgniter or Laravel framework.
  • Full professional proficiency in English language (written and verbal).
  • Experience with React.JS, Angular.JS, Ember.JS, Backbone.JS, Knockout.js.
  • JSON and XML Third Party API Integration.
  • Web application security and optimization concepts.
  • MySQL and/or NoSQL.
  • Development of RESTful services APIs.
  • SVN (GitHub or similar) expertise.
