Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's accounts and providing financial support.

About the Role
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the company's accounts, including invoicing, reconciliations and cash flow projections.
  • Verify bills and ensure accurate item quantity, rate and bill amount.
  • Execute product costing to verify vendor rates.
  • Enter bills in ERP and obtain senior approval.
  • Reconcile ledgers and process timely payments to vendors based on aging.
  • Maintain store ledger cards to update inventory.
  • Maintain good relationship with banks for drafting pay orders, bank deposits and reconcile bank statements fortnightly.
  • Ensure prompt payment to company vendors within agreed credit period.
  • Comply with accounting standards and statutory requirements through proper maintenance of organized books of accounts.
  • Implement efficient internal controls on business processes through development and implementation of internal control systems.
  • Initiate cost control programs to save costs and monitor results.
  • Liaise with purchaser to ensure best buying practices without compromising specifications, quality and time.
  • Negotiate purchase prices and credit terms with suppliers, banks and financial institutions.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with vendors, financial institutions, auditors and tax consultants.
  • Maintain proper record keeping of each transaction in hard and soft form.
