We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to play a pivotal role in setting up, automating, and governing our data infrastructure and CI/CD processes.

This is a mid-senior level position that requires strong expertise in Databricks and Power BI, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to infrastructure challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess current data platform infrastructure and recommend DevOps strategies for optimization.

  • Define and document DevOps architecture and operational workflows.

Critical Skills:

  • Databricks CI/CD pipeline automation.

  • Power BI administration and capacity management.

  • Cloud-based data platform access and governance.

  • ETL/ELT processes and monitoring data pipelines.

  • .NET-based applications, web server administration, and SQL Server.

Favorable Qualifications:

  • Certifications in Azure, Databricks, or DevOps tools.

  • Scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates).

  • Data security standards and compliance requirements.

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a strategic thinker who can start with a hands-on, full-time commitment and later transition into a part-time, maintenance and governance-focused role.

This individual should be able to define and document DevOps architecture and operational workflows, and have experience managing access controls for both Databricks and Power BI platforms.

Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, as this role will require working closely with the team on potential migration of .NET applications and SQL Server environments to the cloud.
