VAT Advisory Expert - MENA Region

This challenging role requires an experienced VAT advisor to join our team in the MENA region. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in VAT advisory services, particularly in customs duty and free trade agreements.

The VAT advisory expert will work closely with clients to identify areas of risk and provide guidance on VAT compliance and strategy. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for this role, as well as experience working in multicultural teams and managing multiple priorities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide VAT advisory services to clients in the MENA region, including customs duty and free trade agreement advice.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of VAT implications for clients' business operations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, colleagues, and partners.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in VAT advisory services, preferably in the MENA region.
  • Degree in economics, finance, tax, or accounting, and/or relevant professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CTA.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
