Job Description
  1. Adheres to and models
ethical and professional obligations defined in legislation, standards, and organization policies.Assists in managing various activities involving cross-functional teams within the organization.Prepares financial reports including monthly accounts and profitability analysis for meaningful financial insights.Assists in budgeting and management information system (MIS) preparation.Prepares detailed cost reports, variance analyses, and forecasts for management review.Analyzes standard cost data and inventory valuations in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.Performs monthly stock counts and prepares reconciliations of finished goods, vendor, etc.Assists in preparing board of directors (BOD) and general executive committee (GEC) working papers, including presentations for reporting to higher management.Maintains general ledger in relation to vendor invoicing of supplies.Prepares landed cost sheets and analyzes overall import costs.Processes vendor payments for expenses, petty cash, fixed assets.Assists in recovering receivable balances and preparing reconciliation related to group companies.Conducts all kinds of tax assessments, monitoring, and filing of income tax and monthly sales tax returns.Assists in compliance with periodic reporting requirements as per Companies Ordinance and Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan directives, etc.Maintains healthy relationships with all banks and ensures cash flow management on a daily basis by monitoring fund positions.Prepares reconciliations of all bank accounts.Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and accounting software.
  • Familiarity with taxation laws and regulations.
