Job Title: Software Testing Expert

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced software testing professional to join our organization. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for designing and developing test automation frameworks, providing consultation on complex testing strategies, and leading urgent issues and projects.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop test automation frameworks, harnesses, and code libraries to enable the team to use and enhance them across successive projects.
  2. Provide consultation on complex testing strategies for the project, including performance and usability testing.
  3. Take the lead on urgent issues and projects, ensuring statuses are properly communicated and appropriate staffing resources are assigned as required.
  4. Provide technical know-how, documentation, and training to test and other business functions.
  5. Stay up-to-date on process, practice, and technology developments to ensure they are brought in-house and enhance the solutions applied to testing problems.
  6. Identify tools and technologies that can be implemented, aligning with those already used across the broader development function and in line with the skill-set of the team.
  7. Possess broad awareness of testing approaches, practices, and techniques to help design and deliver the overall testing methodology used by the team.
  8. Create and validate automated scripts that support Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipeline.
  9. Lead in definition and implementation of direction on automation techniques and adherence to standards.
  10. Apply Testing Lifecycle Management principles in the context of a project.
  11. Mentor the entire quality assurance team.
  12. Evaluate candidates for open positions.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or similar relevant field.
  2. Minimum 10 years of related experience in the professional industry.
  3. Experience with Performance and usability testing.
  4. Experience with Selenium using Java, JMeter, Appium & Git.
  5. Experience building and using testing frameworks for release engineering.
  6. Agile/Scrum experience is a must.
  7. Exceptionally clear communication with the engineering team.
  8. Flexible attitude and versatile personality.
