Software Test Engineer

As a Software Test Engineer at PakWheels, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of products by collaborating closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams throughout the product life cycle. You will translate product requirements into detailed test plans, conduct rigorous testing, and analyze market data to enhance user experience. Additionally, you will play a key role in QA processes, ensuring seamless product releases while maintaining PakWheels' competitive edge in the market.

Responsibilities:
  1. Write/update automated test scripts for new and current functionalities.
  2. Help define acceptance criteria and validate new work meets the requirements.
  3. Work with Product and Development team to resolve bugs as they are discovered.
  4. Proactively identify opportunities and take initiative.
  5. Develop and maintain the test cases of new and old features as per requirements.
  6. Understand and effectively participate in the core processes of the team.
  7. Be an active participant in our agile process.
Qualifications:
  1. Have 1-3 years of experience in software test engineer role.
  2. A Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering/Information Technology/Computer Science.
  3. A thorough understanding of OOP, data structures, algorithms, and operating systems.
  4. Must have hands-on experience in at least one programming language (C++, Java, Python, or any other).
  5. Strong concepts of Black Box Testing.
  6. Understanding of Agile/Scrum Development Process.
  7. Must have experience with testing tools (e.g., Appium, Cypress, Selenium).
  8. Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins will be a plus.
  9. Must have expertise in API Testing using Postman.
  10. Be familiar with agile development and scrum concepts.
  11. Experience with JIRA.
  12. Hands-on experience on UI testing.
  13. Basic SQL knowledge.
  14. Experience with Google Analytics or Firebase Crashlytics.
