Key Responsibilities
  • Selecting the proper cassette for each procedure and positioning equipment at a safe distance from the patient's body to obtain clear images.
  • Ensuring safety measures are taken for patients and equipment during radiology procedures with specified patient positions as prescribed by physicians.
  • Determining the right voltage, current, and exposure time for each procedure and processing images for quality check.
  • Maintaining equipment through cleaning and minor adjustments and performing procedures from different angles as prescribed by physicians.
  • Guiding junior colleagues in performing procedures and handling equipment properly.
  • Assisting in training on-the-job trainees and new technicians during their orientation and observing prescribed safety measures during diagnostic procedures.
  • Selecting and operating radiology equipment regularly and ensuring the wearing of radiation monitoring devices.

  • Performing radiology procedures with precision and accuracy while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborating with junior colleagues and providing guidance on procedure execution and equipment handling.
  • Evaluating image quality and adjusting technical parameters for optimal results.

  • Communicating effectively with patients, staff, and physicians to ensure seamless care delivery.
