Job DescriptionThis is a senior-level position that requires a deep understanding of Linux systems, troubleshooting techniques, and scripting skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of automating daily routines, ensuring security compliance, and enhancing application scalability.
Required Skills and Qualifications- 5-6 years of Linux experience with at least 5 years in Private/Public Cloud
- Expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (REHL) and Ubuntu
- Knowledge of kernel tuning and OS monitoring tools
- Experience with build automation tools like 'make', Maven, Jenkins
- Proficiency in Shell (bash, ksh) and Python scripting
- Familiarity with orchestration and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible)
- In-depth knowledge of public cloud platforms, preferably AWS
- Understanding of infrastructure and security services (load balancing, firewalls, encryption)
- Experience with traditional and microservices application architectures
- Experience with Linux container environments (Docker, CoreOS, Open Container Initiative)
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure Templates, DevOps)
- Knowledge of application containerization and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS, ECS)
