Financial Analysis and Reporting Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced financial analysis and reporting specialist to fill a key position in our organization.

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
  • Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts and sub-ledgers to identify discrepancies and optimize financial performance.
  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and accruals, to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal controls by reviewing and implementing financial procedures and systems.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing historical and trend analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during audits and assist with audit preparation to ensure seamless review of financial records.
  • Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation entries to ensure accurate financial reporting and minimize tax liabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve financial issues and ensure data integrity through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Review and improve accounting procedures and systems for efficiency and accuracy to maximize productivity and minimize errors.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with a focus on financial analysis and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
  • Proficiency in Intuit Enterprise accounting software and other financial management tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.

Please note that the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial management software.
  • Experience with US Taxation laws and regulations.
  • Prior experience with mid-to-large-sized corporations.
