Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Software Developer to lead and manage our software development teams.

As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and motivating teams to achieve high levels of performance and quality in delivering agile solutions that provide exceptional business value to users.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices.

You will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results.

  1. At an enterprise level, you will lead and manage large, complex enterprise-level projects consisting of multiple Agile teams and/or requiring integration with other activities outside the scope of the Agile teams.

  2. At a team level, you will play a consultative role to help put in place the appropriate people, process, and tools and coach members of the team as needed to optimize the efficiency of the project team.

  3. In situations that require a hybrid Agile approach, you will use good judgment and skill to develop a project management approach that is suitable for planning and managing the effort to achieve the project goals within designated project constraints.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  2. Solid understanding of software development life cycle models, including Agile and Scrum methodologies.

  3. Proven track record of successfully implementing software or web development projects using Agile methodologies.

  4. Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects.

  5. Experience overseeing multi-function project teams with at least 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager managing large, complex projects in a high-tech development environment.

  6. Balanced business/technical background.

  7. Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands.

  8. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
