About the Role

Hireright is seeking a highly skilled Deputy Manager Procurement to join our operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing procurement processes, developing vendors, and ensuring seamless logistics operations.

Your primary focus will be on identifying and developing new vendors, maintaining relationships with existing ones, and overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of inventory. You will also play a crucial role in implementing efficient inventory management systems and tracking and analyzing inventory data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement Process Management:
    • Oversee the entire procurement process, from vendor identification to delivery.
  • Vendor Relationship Management:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors through effective communication and negotiation.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent overstocking or understocking.
  • Administrative Tasks:
    • Ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation of procurement activities.
Requirements
  • Leadership Skills:
    • Exercise strong leadership skills to motivate team members and drive results.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors through effective communication and negotiation.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
