Job Title: Mobile Architect

Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect to spearhead the development of innovative mobile solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of software design principles and be able to turn business requirements into actionable designs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. The Solutions Architect will participate in the presales, user experience design, sprint, development, and delivery phases of a project and provide valuable input on the overall proposal.
  2. During user experience design, the architect will review wireframes from a technical standpoint and provide necessary direction.
  3. The architect will produce artifacts to guide the development team before the actual development work starts.
  4. Necessary artifacts for the development team will be provided as a Solutions Design Document.
  5. The architect will ensure that the design is followed during the development phase and document any changes.
  6. The architect will also review the work produced by the development team.
  7. The Solutions Architect will provide training to developers and serve as the sole point of contact for stakeholders and the team on all technical matters.

Requirements:

  1. A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from a reputable university.
  2. 10+ years of hands-on experience preferably in Android, iOS, Flutter, and React Native.
  3. Familiarity with native build tools like XCode and Gradle.
  4. Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage.
  5. Minimum of 4 years of experience making important architecture & design decisions, such as data domain modeling, application of design patterns, and design using third-party components.
  6. Ability to work in a team in a diverse/multiple stakeholder environment.
  7. Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design. In-depth understanding of coding languages, sound knowledge of various operating systems and databases, and strong organizational and leadership skills.
  8. Effective communication with stakeholders, project managers, developers, and software vendors involved in the development process.
  9. The ability to analyze and identify potential short and long-term risks that may cause technical issues and impede business operations in the future.
  10. Solid ability to work with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts.
