We are seeking a highly motivated and career-focused Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for ACCA students, accounting graduates, or school leavers looking to embark on their career in accountancy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out bookkeeping and data entry using cloud-based accounting software with high accuracy and efficiency.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and financial records promptly and accurately.
  • Assist with VAT returns and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support payroll and pension processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Contribute to year-end accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
  • Develop knowledge of corporation tax and self-assessment returns, staying up-to-date with changes in taxation laws.

Requirements:

  • ACCA student, AAT qualified accounting graduate, or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general IT skills, with ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
