We are seeking an experienced Indirect Tax professional to help our clients navigate complex tax laws and regulations across the globe.
The successful candidate will be part of a globally integrated team providing tailored advice to leading organizations, identifying risk areas, and sustainable planning opportunities for indirect taxes throughout the tax life cycle.
Key Responsibilities- Client Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with colleagues in overseas offices to deliver VAT advice in respect of global jurisdictions.
- Work effectively as a member of a worldwide network of professional advisors, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress.
- Technical Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of Customs Law and its practical application across countries.
- Achievable Skills:
- Strong client relationships and excellent communication skills in written and oral English.
- Able to identify areas of risk, carry out an effective review, and know when to refer upwards.
- Project management skills, plan and prioritize work, meet deadlines, and monitor own budget.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, tax, or accounting.
- At least two years of relevant experience as an Indirect Tax professional.
