Machine Learning Engineer Role

  • As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and researching cutting-edge Machine Learning systems, models, and schemes.
  • You will be responsible for performing statistical analysis, using results to improve models, and training and retraining ML systems and models as needed.
  • Your expertise will also extend to analyzing the use cases of ML algorithms, ranking them by their success probability, and understanding when your findings can be applied to business decisions.
  • In addition, you will be required to extend existing ML libraries and frameworks, identify challenges and technical interdependencies, and suggest solutions to address them.
  • You will also have the opportunity to teach, mentor, grow, and advise other domain experts, individual contributors, and teams in the organization.
  • Furthermore, you will work with key customers in assigned areas to address technical challenges and exemplify company values through code, reviews, communications, and processes.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer is necessary.
  • You must have extensive knowledge of ML frameworks, libraries, data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
  • Proficiency with Python and R code writing is essential.
  • Mid-level Cloud experience AWS/Azure including Azure Machine Learning and AWS Sage Maker is required.
  • An in-depth knowledge of mathematics, statistics, and algorithms is crucial.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities are necessary.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are required.
  • Experience of working in an offshore software development environment is a plus.
