The role of a Techno-Functional Business Central consultant involves working closely with client and partner teams to tailor Business Central solutions and integrate them with external systems. Ensuring compliance with support service level agreements is crucial, as is triaging and resolving issues efficiently. Regression testing is also essential for ensuring the smooth upgrade of D365.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, plan, test, and deploy Business Central solutions.
  • Analyze requirements, create detailed estimates, and perform other supporting activities related to implementation pursuits.
  • Develop comprehensive specifications for Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC enhancements and integrations.
  • Coding and programming tasks are performed to specification and in accordance with development standards.
  • Test plans are developed and implemented to ensure workability, completeness, and quality.
  • Configuring all aspects of the Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and version control for all entities.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required.
  • No less than five years of experience with Dynamics NAV and Business Central Development is necessary.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure is expected.
  • Minimum hands-on experience with two to three full life-cycle implementations is required.
  • Strong software development experience, proficiency in using development tools including Microsoft C/AL and .NET to develop solutions for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Basic functional knowledge of modules such as Finance, WMS, and Supply Chain.
  • API integration with other eCommerce, Logistics, and Retail software.
Nice to Have
  • Knowledge and experience in EDI integrations.
  • Accounting knowledge is advantageous.
