Techno-Functional Business Central Consultant Job Description

This role involves working with clients and partners to tailor Business Central to their needs and integrate it with third-party systems. Ensuring that support SLAs are met, resolving issues, and conducting regression tests for D365 upgrades are essential responsibilities.

Main Tasks

  • Design, test, and deploy Business Central solutions.
  • Assess client needs, design solutions, estimate costs, and carry out additional tasks related to project planning.
  • Create detailed specifications for enhancing and integrating Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC.
  • Coding and programming tasks must be completed according to established standards.
  • Develop test plans and participate in code testing to guarantee the quality and integrity of the software.
  • All aspects of Dynamics 365 Business Central must be configured.
  • Document and maintain version control for all entities.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Dynamics NAV and Business Central development.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments like AWS and Azure.
  • Hands-on experience with at least 2-3 complete project lifecycles.
  • Strong software development skills and ability to use Microsoft C/AL and .NET tools to develop Business Central solutions.
  • Familiarity with finance, WMS, and supply chain modules.
  • Integration expertise with e-commerce, logistics, and retail software through APIs.

Desirable Skills

  • EDI integration knowledge and experience.
  • Accounting expertise advantageous.
