Data Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Infrastructure Specialist to join our data infrastructure team. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on experience in designing and building efficient ELT pipelines, developing robust data models, and integrating data sources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Build Efficient ELT Pipelines
    • Create scalable ELT pipelines using DBT.
  • Develop and Optimize Data Models
    • Built robust data models in Amazon Redshift to support analytics and reporting needs.
  • Collaborate with Analysts and Stakeholders
    • Deliver clean, reliable datasets for BI dashboards by collaborating with analysts and business stakeholders.
  • Integrate Data Sources and Support Dashboard Development
    • Integrate data sources and support dashboard development in Holistics BI and Metabase.
  • Monitor Data Pipeline Performance
    • Ensure data quality, monitor data pipeline performance, and troubleshoot issues proactively.
  • Implement Best Practices
    • Implement best practices in data modeling, transformation logic, and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • DBT Experience
    • Strong experience with DBT (Data Build Tool) – writing modular SQL models and managing transformation workflows.
  • Amazon Redshift Proficiency
    • Proficiency in Amazon Redshift – including performance tuning, schema design, and data warehousing principles.
  • Holistics BI and Metabase Experience
    • Experience with Holistics BI and Metabase for building and managing dashboards.
  • Solid Understanding of SQL
    • Solid understanding of SQL and data warehousing concepts.
  • Version Control Systems
    • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD workflows in data engineering.
  • Communication Skills
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
