Job Description

As a Senior Android Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our mobile platform's capabilities. You will work in a multidisciplinary squad to deliver end-to-end solutions from concept to production-ready applications. Your primary focus will be on translating complex business requirements into technical designs and implementations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain capabilities for our mobile platform;
  • Contribute to end-to-end solution delivery from concept to production-ready applications;
  • Translate complex business requirements into technical designs and implementations;
  • Deliver high-quality software that meets performance, cleanliness, and maintainability standards;
  • Collaborate with the team to gather feedback, implement functionality, write tests, document code, and provide adoption support.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience working on complex Android-based products with at least 2+ years in a Senior role;
  • Proficiency in Kotlin and knowledge of architecture patterns like MVP, MVVM, MVI and Clean architecture;
  • Experience building and shipping modular Android libraries and SDKs and decorated APIs;
  • Solid experience building complex UI with XML-based layouts and Jetpack Compose;
  • Strong understanding of multithreading and structured concurrency with Kotlin Coroutines and Flow;
  • Technical expertise in unit testing, UI testing, snapshot testing, and debugging tools like Layout Inspector, Android Profiler, and ADB;
  • Experience with SDLC processes, CI/CD automation, Gradle, GitHub Actions or Bitrise, and deployment tools;
  • Hands-on technical experience with non-functional features like security, performance, and accessibility;
  • Strong communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
