Senior Technologist

As a Charge Technologist in the Blood Bank Clinical Laboratory, you will play a key role in maintaining the quality and integrity of blood products. This includes performing routine and STAT clinical laboratory tests, communicating results, and ensuring compliance with laboratory policies and protocols.
You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the section, including coordinating administrative and technical activities, handling staffing matters, and creating duty rotas. You should have a strong understanding of laboratory testing procedures, including quality control and quality assurance measures.
To succeed in this role, you should have a solid foundation in biological sciences, including a BS/BSC in Biological Science (4 years Program) or a Master's degree. You should also have relevant experience as a Senior Technologist or in a related field, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.
The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. They will also be able to maintain accurate records and communicate complex information effectively.
