IT Infrastructure Manager

The ideal candidate will oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, storage, and network infrastructure. This includes managing IT security, including firewalls, access controls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Server and Network Administration: Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, storage, and network infrastructure.
  • IT Security Management: Manage IT security, including firewalls, access controls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems.
  • System Administration: Administer Active Directory, NAS/SAN storage, and password management solutions.
  • Virtualization: Implement and maintain virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) for scalability and efficiency.
  • Data Backup and Recovery: Ensure data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity using Veeam Replication Tool.
  • Network Management: Manage LAN, WAN, VLANs, wireless networks, PABX, and IP phone systems.
  • Server Room Environment: Supervise the server room environment, ensuring security, power, and cooling management.
  • Automation: Automate data transfers and backups using tools like Robocopy.
  • Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with vendors for procurement, upgrades, and IT support.

Required Competencies:

  • Technical Expertise: Strong technical expertise in system administration, network management, and security protocols.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills.
  • IT Automation and Scripting: Knowledge of IT automation and scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
  • Certifications: Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, VCP, Fortinet NSE, CCNA, or CISSP.
  • Cloud Experience: Experience with cloud solutions (Office 365).

Education and Experience:

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, security, and system administration.
